After a significant time offline, the INK newspaper site has been rebuilt by a team of volunteers with help from the University of Windsor. Now INK2, the site offers access to many of the titles that were on the original site, with more slated to be added. Several of the titles have been rescanned using macrophotography and much of the imagery is improved. As a companion site to the Ontario Community Newspapers collections, INK2 titles broaden the geographic representation of ODW-hosted newspapers and provides some groundwork on the use of a small but agile search platform for large amounts of newspaper content. The site is currently available for keyword and advanced searching at ink2.ourdigitalworld.org.
